Rebecca Haviland

Rebecca Haviland is an Assistant Professor of Music and Technology at Purchase College, SUNY, and Head of Studio Composition in the Conservatory of Music. A professional musician for over 15 years, she leads the Americana band Rebecca Haviland and Whiskey Heart, releasing multiple acclaimed albums and touring globally. Her academic roles combine teaching with her performance career, focusing on songwriting, studio techniques, and industry practices. Haviland holds a MusB and MA in Entrepreneurship in the Arts from Purchase College.
