Rebecca E. Scofield is an Associate Professor and Department Chair of History within the College of Letters, Arts and Social Sciences at the University of Idaho. Her academic leadership spans interdisciplinary research and teaching in historical studies.
Education:
- B.A. in History (2008) from Willamette University
- M.A. in Regional Studies: East Asia (2011) from Harvard University
- Ph.D. in American Studies (2015) from Harvard University
Her research focuses broadly on historical and cultural dynamics in American Studies and East Asian contexts. As Department Chair, she oversees academic programs and scholarly initiatives within the History department.
