Rebecca Crocker is an Assistant Professor of Theatre Arts at Ferrum College. An alumna of Ferrum College (B.F.A., Theatre Arts, 2002), she earned her M.F.A. in Acting from The Theatre School at DePaul University. She directs mainstage productions and serves as head puppet designer for the department, with notable works including Macbeth, Twelfth Night, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Crimes of the Heart, and Antigone Now.

Research and Creative Interests
Her expertise encompasses theatre pedagogy, puppetry design, classical and contemporary direction, vocal techniques, and stagecraft. She teaches courses such as Puppetry and Oral Interpretation, Voice and Diction, StageCraft, and Theatre Appreciation, integrating practical design work with performance theory.
