Rebecca Coon is a Senior Lecturer in Clinical Pharmacy at the School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, University of Sunderland. She qualified as a pharmacist in 2011 and has worked in secondary care clinical pharmacy, specializing in gastroenterology and medication safety. Currently, she continues one day per week of clinical practice as an independent prescriber at County Durham and Darlington NHS Trust while teaching on undergraduate and postgraduate pharmacy programs.

- Module Lead: PHMM61 Clinical Decision Making, PHMM62 Patient Safety, PHMM73 Psychiatry
Her research interests focus on patient safety and gastroenterology within clinical pharmacy. She maintains professional affiliations with the Royal Pharmaceutical Society, UK Clinical Pharmacy Association, and North East MSO Network. Contact: rebecca.coon@sunderland.ac.uk
