Rebecca Bliss is an Adjunct Lecturer at Barnard College since 2010, specializing in Cuban and African-based dance traditions. She is also a Brooklyn-based performer, educator, and choreographer with over two decades of experience in K-12 arts education, notably with the Brooklyn Academy of Music’s Dance Africa Program. Formerly affiliated with Ballet Hispanico’s pre-professional division, she taught in their 2019 Cuban Dance Intensive at NOBA. She frequently guest lectures at Princeton University’s dance program and leads workshops for institutions like Rutgers, Sarah Lawrence, and The Master’s School.
