Rebecca Allan is a New York-based visual artist, garden designer, and writer affiliated with Pratt Institute (School of Liberal Arts & Sciences, Department of History of Art and Design) and The College of Mount Saint Vincent. She holds the academic rank of Visiting Professor, though her role is explicitly part-time.
Allan’s research spans Botanical Art, Sustainable Garden Design, Environmental Science, and Landscape Painting. She explores land conservation, climate change, and artistic processes through abstract painting and horticultural practice. Her work integrates elemental forces, seasonal cycles, and the artistry of gardening.
