Raúl Rojas is the Fred D. Gibson, Jr. Endowed Professor in Science at the University of Nevada, Reno (UNR), affiliated with the College of Science. His research focuses on Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, Autonomous Cars, and Number Theory. He teaches courses such as Linear Algebra, Calculus, and Statistical Machine Learning. Rojas holds a PhD H.c. in Computer Science from Inastituto Nacional de òptica y Electrónica (2016), a Habilitation in Computer Science from Freie Universität Berlin (1994), and a PhD in Economics (1988).
