Razvan Viorescu

Razvan Viorescu serves as Associate Professor at the Faculty of Law, Stefan cel Mare University of Suceava, and holds the prestigious Jean Monnet Chair in EU Cross-Border Integration funded by the Erasmus+ programme of the European Union.

Education:

• First degree in Law from Ovidius University, Constanta, Romania
• PhD from State University of Moldova

Research Focus: His expertise spans EU legal frameworks, cross-border regional cooperation, and domestic legal systems including criminal, business, and administrative law. Current work examines the legal-economic nexus of EU integration through his Erasmus+-funded Jean Monnet Chair project, emphasizing ethical dimensions in public administration and social policy implementation.

Research Leadership: Directs the "EU Cross-Border Integration: Legal and Economic Implications" project analyzing transnational governance challenges.
