Rayvon Fouché is a Professor of Communication Studies at the School of Communication and holds a joint appointment as Professor of Journalism at the Medill School of Journalism, Media, and Integrative Marketing Communications, Northwestern University. He serves as the Associate Dean for Graduate Education and Director of the Humanity and Technoscience (HAT) Lab. His work examines intersections between cultural representation, racial identification, and technoscientific design.

Research Interests: Fouché’s scholarship bridges Black studies, design, and technoscience, with a focus on innovation, sports technology, and equity in STEM. His research explores how race and culture shape technological development and vice versa, emphasizing inclusive design and societal impacts of science and technology.
