Raymond Larsen

Raymond Larsen serves as Associate Professor and Graduate Coordinator in the Department of Biological Sciences at Bowling Green State University, actively leading SEA-PHAGES program courses since 2017. His institutional role focuses on undergraduate research education in phage discovery and microbiology.

Research centers on Microbiology and Phage Genomics, utilizing bacterial hosts like Mycobacterium smegmatis and Mycobacterium phlei for genomic analysis. His work bridges experimental microbiology with evolutionary science through student-driven phage isolation projects.
