Raymond Ehlers is a Postdoctoral Scholar at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (LBNL) and the University of California, Berkeley. His research focuses on experimental nuclear physics, particularly investigating jet-hadron correlations in Pb-Pb collisions to study the Quark-Gluon Plasma. He holds a Ph.D. from Yale University (2020), advised by Helen Caines, with a dissertation titled *Jet-Hadron Correlations Measured in Pb-Pb Collisions at sqrt(s_NN) = 5.02 TeV with ALICE*.
His work examines energy loss mechanisms in QCD matter and contributes to the ALICE collaboration’s real-time data monitoring system (ALICE Overwatch). Key research themes include jet quenching, azimuthal correlations, and medium-induced modifications of jet dynamics in high-energy heavy-ion collisions.
