Prof. Dr. Rawa Arif is a senior cardiovascular surgeon and research group leader at University Hospital Heidelberg, specializing in Marfan syndrome and aortic dissections. Holding dual roles as Deputy Medical Director and Managing Consultant in the Department of Cardiac Surgery, he also serves as Head of the Marfan Center and leads the Working Group on Multimodal Therapy of Marfan Syndrome. His clinical expertise spans heart transplantation, MIDCAB, TAVI, and endoscopic valve surgery.
