Ravinder Sidhu

Ravinder Sidhu, M.B.B.S. serves as Associate Professor of Clinical Imaging Sciences in the Department of Imaging Sciences at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry. Board-certified in Diagnostic Radiology, he specializes in Neuroradiology and Ultrasound with clinical expertise in cross-sectional imaging and multidisciplinary tumor boards for colorectal and genitourinary cancers.

He actively integrates imaging expertise into clinical decision-making through tumor board participation and QA meetings, with emphasis on practical educational applications for trainees.

His 27 peer-reviewed publications and 5 book chapters demonstrate progression from foundational studies on cysticercosis and hepatic lesions (2002-2005) to advanced urinary bladder and renal vascular ultrasound applications (2008-2010). The research consistently bridges diagnostic innovation with educational excellence, reflected in multiple award-winning exhibits on ultrasound techniques and case-based learning.
