Rasmus Munksgaard Andersen is an Associate Professor at the Department of Sociology and Social Work, Aalborg University. His research focuses on illicit markets (online and offline), cybercrime, and criminology, with a particular emphasis on trust mechanisms, drug policy, and social control. He leads the PEEREC project, examining penal policy effects in Denmark, and previously spearheaded the NEWDRUG project analyzing global drug pricing. His work integrates quantitative methods like social network analysis and causal inference.
