Rasmus Dam Jensen is a Researcher at the Department of Global Change Ecology, Julian-Maximilian University Würzburg. His work focuses on plant-pollinator interactions, particularly in insular ecosystems and the ecological impacts of climate events like hurricanes. He holds a PhD (since 2024), an MSc from Aarhus University and the University of Copenhagen (2020–2023), and a BSc from Aarhus University (2017–2020).
Research interests include understanding how island flora adapts to pollinator shifts and how extreme weather disrupts coevolved mutualisms. His recent publications explore Caribbean hummingbird-plant dynamics and hurricane-driven changes in pollination systems.
Since 2024, he has served as a PhD representative at the Biodiversity Exploratories and was a member of the Danish Society for Nature Conservation’s Aarhus Youth branch. His work bridges evolutionary biology and conservation, emphasizing practical implications for biodiversity preservation.
