Rashid Sunyaev

Rashid Sunyaev is a renowned astrophysicist holding academic and leadership roles across multiple institutions. He is a Professor at the Institute of Physics and Technology, Moscow (since 2001) and serves as the Chief Scientist of the Institute for Space Research (IKI), Moscow (since 1992). He previously led the High-Energy Astrophysics Department at IKI (since 2002) and was the emertius Director and Scientific Member at the Max Planck Institute for Astrophysics in Garching, Germany.
