Rasha Abdrabou, DrPH, is the Chair and Assistant Professor in the Physician Assistant Sciences department at the School of Allied Health Professions, Loma Linda University. She holds a DrPH (2009), MPH (2005), and BS (1998) from Loma Linda University and La Sierra University, respectively. Her research focuses on public health challenges such as medication interactions in older adults, patient satisfaction in educational settings, and medical ethics training. She has contributed to federal and state-funded grants, including roles in HRSA projects (2011–2016) and a PA Program grant (2023–2025). Abdrabou teaches courses like Evidence-Based Medicine for PAs and Psychiatry for PAs. She has organized community health initiatives, including employee health fairs and radio health education campaigns. She also serves on accreditation committees and research councils within her university.
Her research outputs include studies on geriatric medication interactions (2024) and the impact of medical students on patient satisfaction (2011). She emphasizes practical healthcare education and interdisciplinary team approaches. Grants highlight her focus on vulnerable patient care and healthcare access improvement.
Abdrabou’s service activities include accreditation site visits and presentations on overcoming barriers to exercise for women. She balances academic leadership with direct community engagement through health screenings and professional development workshops.
