The Lieberman lab employs crystallography, neutron scattering, and proteomics to study protein folding and membrane enzymology. They are pioneering pharmacological chaperone discovery for glaucoma therapeutics and structural characterization of intramembrane proteases, with recent work focusing on AI-driven mutation classification and lipid-dependent enzyme oligomerization.
