Raphaële Xenidis is an Assistant Professor in European Law at the Sciences Po Law School, affiliated with its Research Center. She also serves as a Global Research Fellow at iCourts, University of Copenhagen.
Education:
- PhD in Law, European University Institute
- LL.M. in Comparative, European and International Laws, European University Institute
- Master’s degrees from Sciences Po Lille (France), Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität (Germany), and SAIS Europe, Johns Hopkins University (Italy)
- Trained as both political scientist and lawyer
Research Interests focus on European discrimination and equality law, algorithmic bias in automated systems, data-driven inequality, and critical legal theory. Her work bridges law and technology through interdisciplinary frameworks, emphasizing intersectionality and sociolegal analysis.

She previously held positions as permanent lecturer in EU law at the University of Edinburgh and postdoctoral researcher at Utrecht Law School. She contributes to the European Network of Legal Experts in Gender Equality and Non-Discrimination Law.
