Dr. Rani Warsi Sullivan is Professor and Head of Aerospace Engineering at Mississippi State University, holding the Bill & Carolyn Cobb Endowed Chair. She earned her Ph.D. (2003), M.S. (1993), and B.S. (1989) in Engineering-related disciplines from Mississippi State University.
Her research focuses on viscoelastic behavior in composites, composite structural analysis, and experimental testing methods. She has secured funding from NASA, Office of Naval Research, Boeing, and other leading aerospace organizations.
Professor Sullivan teaches undergraduate and graduate courses including Engineering Mechanics, Vibrations, and Aerospace Structural Analysis. Her educational innovations received the Outstanding Educational Paper award from the Bagley College of Engineering.
