Randy McGee is a Teaching Professor and Director of the Opera Workshop at Boston College, where he also teaches Fundamentals of Music Theory and private voice instruction. He holds a Doctor of Arts in Vocal Performance and Conducting from the University of Northern Colorado. McGee has extensive performance experience with renowned ensembles such as the Bach Cantata Series, Boston Baroque, and the Handel and Haydn Society. His career includes roles as an Assistant Professor at Adams State College and Northwestern Oklahoma State University, as well as Music Director for the Unicorn Singers and First Parish Congregational in Norwood, MA.
His research and professional interests focus on vocal performance, opera direction, and choral conducting. Beyond academia, he has participated in international festivals including the Proms Festival at Royal Albert Hall and the Beethoven Festival in Poland.
