Rana Habibi

Rana Habibi is a Lecturer and Researcher in Urban Design at the Faculty of Built Environment, University of Breda, and an associate researcher at the University of Leuven (KU Leuven). She holds a Ph.D. in Architecture from KU Leuven (2015) and a Master of Urbanism and Strategic Planning from the same institution (2011), alongside a postgraduate degree in Urbanism from Università Iuav di Venezia.

She has contributed to EU-funded projects including Inclusive City, KreativEU, Neon (Energy Transition), and Greengage, addressing urban challenges through critical placemaking and citizen engagement.

Rana is involved in several research projects, including:

• Co-Investigator in "InclusiveCity: Critical Placemaking for Inclusive Cities" (2024–2026)
• Co-Investigator in "Greengage" (2023–2025), focusing on citizen observatories and urban transformation
