Ramiro Corbetta is an Assistant Arts Professor at the NYU Game Center, part of New York University. With nearly two decades of experience as a game developer and educator, he has created numerous acclaimed games such as Sportsfriends (IndieCade Festival Winner) and Glow Artisan (Independent Games Festival Winner). His work has been showcased in prestigious venues like the Museum of Contemporary Art (Los Angeles), the New Museum (New York), and E3. Corbetta holds a BA from Columbia University and an MFA from Parsons School of Design.
He co-founded and directed the Game Design BFA program at Long Island University Post and received a Fulbright Senior Scholar grant to teach game development at Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology. His professional projects include high-profile collaborations like Lanebreak (Peloton), Dots/TwoDots (mobile hits), and Microsoft Solitaire's Windows 8 redesign.
Corbetta’s research interests focus on merging artistic expression with interactive media, emphasizing game education and innovative design practices. His contributions to the field include bridging academic and industry perspectives through both creative projects and pedagogical initiatives.
