Ramazan Yilmaz has been a full-time Lecturer at Akdeniz University, Health Services Vocational School, Department of Medical Services and Techniques since 1999. Previously he served the same department as an Expert from 1994 to 1999 and has continuously taken on managerial duties such as Programme Coordinator, Board Member, and Director of the Junior College section. His professional focus lies in medical laboratory sciences with an emphasis on hematology and clinical biochemistry.

He delivers courses such as Hematology, Clinical Hematology, Basic Laboratory Applications, Organization in the Medical Laboratory, and Special Topics in the Laboratory, reflecting a comprehensive involvement in laboratory-oriented education.
Professional Development & Engagement
Since 2023 alone he has attended or organized over 30 certified webinars and courses on cutting-edge hematology instrumentation (Sysmex XN, XR-Series, XP-300, CA-600, UC-3500), bleeding disorders, lupus anticoagulant testing, and sustainable laboratory practices. Memberships include:
- Turkish Hematology Association (since 2014)
- Turkish Clinical Biochemistry Association (since 2002)
- Health and Environmental Policies Association, Board Member (2022–2025, renewed 2025)
Labs & Teams
He operates within the Medical Laboratory Techniques Programme laboratories of the Health Services Vocational School, supervising student practical sessions and participating in national working groups on quality assurance and cancer biomarkers.
