Ralph Jessop is a Senior Lecturer in Literature and Philosophy at the University of Glasgow, affiliated with the School of Social & Environmental Sustainability. He holds a PhD from the Universities of Glasgow and Cambridge, with teaching experience at institutions including Cambridge, Glasgow, and Aberdeen. His research focuses on Thomas Carlyle, Scottish Philosophy, 19th-century critiques of modernity, and moral philosophy in fictional works. His work explores intersections between literature, intellectual history, and philosophical discourse.
Education: Graduated from the Universities of Glasgow and Cambridge.
