Ralph A. Terregrossa is an Associate Professor of Economics at St. John’s University’s Peter J. Tobin College of Business since 1990. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Binghamton University, along with an MA in Economics and Finance from Binghamton and a BA in Economics from SUNY Cortland.
His teaching focuses on Macroeconomics, Microeconomics, Econometrics, and Monetary Economics. Research interests center on student behavior and learning styles impacting achievement in economics and business courses. He has published in journals like The Quarterly Review of Economics and Finance and Journal for Economic Education.
Dr. Terregrossa has received multiple awards for teaching and scholarship, including the Tobin College Excellence Award and President’s Faculty Achievement Award. He advised a Tobin College team that won first place in the Federal Reserve Bank of New York’s College Fed Challenge (Maiden Lane Division).
