Ralf Einspanier is a Professor at the Department of Veterinary Medicine within the College of Veterinary Medicine at Free University of Berlin. His research focuses on genetically modified plants and their feeding, risk assessment of genetically modified food and feed, in vitro systems and diagnostics, RNA and nucleic acid-based techniques, pathogen-host interactions, reproductive biology of animals, and honey bees and beekeeping.
