Rakel Österberg is an Associate Professor in Spanish Linguistics at Stockholm University's Department of Romance Studies and Classics. Her work focuses on second language acquisition, academic writing, and heritage language education for Romance languages, particularly Spanish. She collaborates internationally through research groups like RomSLA (Romance Languages and Second Language Acquisition) and previously worked on the TAL project examining foreign language education alignment in Swedish schools.
