Rajeev Nair

Dr. Rajeev Nair is a Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Wichita State University's College of Engineering. He has been actively contributing to research, teaching, and academic service since 2007, focusing on advanced manufacturing techniques and materials science at micro/nano scales.

His research interests include:

• Laser materials processing of metals, ceramics, and composites
• Tribology of nano-coatings
• Nanotechnology applications in manufacturing
• Mechanics of composite manufacturing processes
• Design and finite element analysis of machine tools and biomedical devices

Dr. Nair has secured multiple grants, including three recent awards, and holds a patent with Dr. Hwang for space applications.
