Rajeeb Kumar Sah is a Reader (Associate Professor) in Public Health and the International Lead for the Department of Allied Health Professions, Sport and Exercise at the University of Huddersfield, School of Human and Health Sciences. He is a member of the Centre for Applied Research in Health and is actively accepting PhD students. His academic leadership includes external examiner roles at Oxford Brookes University (2019–2023), Arden University (2022–2026), and University of Central Lancashire (2024–2028).

Dr Sah’s research focuses on global public health, with expertise in sexual and reproductive health, maternal and child health, adolescent health, mental health and wellbeing, health inequalities, and the social determinants of health. He specializes in qualitative methods, including ethnography, co-production, participatory action research, and systematic reviews. His work contributes to several UN Sustainable Development Goals, particularly those related to health and wellbeing, reduced inequalities, and quality education.
The recent publications reflect a strong emphasis on marginalized populations across the UK, Nepal, Nigeria, and India. Key themes include accessibility of reproductive health services, mental health among ethnic minority youth, workplace challenges for people with type 1 diabetes, and food environments in low-income settings. His research often involves mixed methods and community engagement, aiming to inform policy and improve health equity.

He has organized major academic events like the Global Consortium for Public Health Research and frequently serves as an external examiner and peer reviewer, demonstrating strong academic service and leadership.
