Raja Khoury is a Lecturer in the Department of Mathematical Sciences at the University of Texas at Dallas (UT Dallas), affiliated with the School of Natural Sciences and Mathematics. He holds a Ph.D. in Mathematics from the University of Houston (1997), an M.S. and B.S. in Mathematics from North Dakota State University (1989 and 1987). His research focuses on convex functions, doubly stochastic matrices, and Vandermonde matrices, with notable contributions to matrix approximation theory and convexity characterization. He currently does not accept undergraduate students.
Key Research Areas:
- λ(n)-convex functions characterized via determinants and divided differences
