Rainer Herpers

Prof. Dr. Rainer Herpers is a full Professor at the Department of Computer Science within the Graduate Institute at Hochschule Bonn-Rhein-Sieg University of Applied Sciences. He serves as Scientific Director of the Graduate Institute and Director of the Institute of Visual Computing (IVC), leading interdisciplinary projects that bridge Computer Vision, Human Perception, and Real-Time Systems. His research explores gravitational effects on spatial orientation, serious games for medical training, and FPGA-based computer vision solutions.
