Rainer Helmig

Rainer Helmig is a Research Professor at the University of Stuttgart since 2021 and has been a Full Professor and Director of the Institute for Modelling Hydraulic and Environmental Systems since 2000. He holds an Honorary Doctoral Degree from Heriot-Watt University (2022), is an AGU Fellow (2020), and has received prestigious awards such as the InterPore-Rosette (2013) and the Dresden Prize for Groundwater Research (1995).
