Prof. Dr. Raif CERGİBOZAN is a full-time Professor at Kırklareli University's Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Department of Economics. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Université Paris X Nanterre (2018) and Galatasaray University (2015), with a master's degree from İstanbul Technical University (2011) and bachelor's from Marmara University (2009).
Research Interests: His work spans financial crises prediction, renewable energy economics, income inequality, trade balance dynamics, and corporate governance. Key methodologies include econometric modeling (Markov regime switching, self-organizing maps), fuzzy AHP analysis, and empirical policy evaluation.
Publications: Recent articles focus on renewable energy investment barriers, risk spillovers between oil and clean energy markets, and sustainable development goal alignment. Earlier works analyze Turkey's financial crises, inflation dynamics, and cultural influences on economic stability.
Projects: He has led national projects on food supply security (2022), student profile analysis (2019-2020), and youth policy development (2018-2019), with international EU-funded risk awareness initiatives (2022-present).
Academic Leadership: Currently serving as Dean (2024) and Vice-Rector (2024) at Kırklareli University, he previously chaired the Department of Economics (2018-2023) and held editorial roles at Jetas (2019) and Addicta (2018).
