Rahel Müller

Rahel Müller is a Lecturer and Project Manager at the Institute for Sociocultural Development, Lucerne School of Social Work (HSLU). Her work focuses on open child and youth work, gender-just practices, queerfeminist approaches in girls' work, and group dynamics. She holds a Master of Science in Social Work from HSLU and related institutions, specializing in social problems and conflict resolution.

Her professional experience includes project leadership in education initiatives like the 'Bildungslandschaft Wankdorf' and co-leading the 'Mädchen*arbeit' program. She has held roles in coordination, youth work, and practical training supervision since 2007.

Müller's research explores gender implementation in youth work, historical development of open youth services in Switzerland, and qualitative analyses of practitioner experiences. She has published in journals like SozialAktuell and InfoAnimation, and contributed to edited volumes on youth work practices.

Her activities include leadership roles in the DOJ (Dachverband Offene Kinder- und Jugendarbeit Schweiz), serving as Vice President and Board Member since 2014. Projects span international coaching initiatives in Morocco, Congo, and Albania, focusing on employment and social work capacity building.
