Ragnhild Hellesnes

Ragnhild Hellesnes serves as an Associate Professor in the Department of Clinical Medicine at UiT The Arctic University of Norway, where her research focuses on cancer survivorship and treatment outcomes. She is actively engaged in translational oncology research with emphasis on long-term patient outcomes following cancer therapy.

Her primary research interests center on testicular cancer survivorship, bladder cancer treatment efficacy, cisplatin-based chemotherapy effects, and late complications in cancer survivors. Hellesnes investigates critical areas including second cancer incidence, mortality patterns, psychosocial determinants of survival, and real-world treatment complications using population-based cohort methodologies.
