Rafał Typek

Rafał Typek is a Senior Lecturer at the Faculty of Chemistry, Maria Curie-Skłodowska University, specializing in chromatography. His research focuses on chemical stability and transformation of bioactive compounds during extraction and processing, particularly chlorogenic acids, flavonoids, and cannabinoids.

• Developed methods to prevent extraction artifacts using Sea Sand Disruption Method (SSDM)

• Holds two patents (2024) for cannabinol (CBN) synthesis from phytocannabinoids
