Rafał Jędrzejewski

Rafał Jędrzejewski is an Assistant Professor at the Stanisław Moniuszko Academy of Music in Gdańsk, specializing in flute performance. He holds a doctoral degree from 2018 and serves in the Department II – Instrumental within Faculty II.

Education: Graduated with distinction from Gdańsk Academy under Prof. Krzysztof Langman, followed by postgraduate studies at Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Hamburg under Hans Udo-Heinzmann. Participated in masterclasses with renowned flutists globally.

Research & Performance: Focuses on contemporary music through his flute duo 'Flute o'clock' with Ewa Liebchen, featuring world premieres and collaborations with composers. Soloist roles include performances with Hamburger Symphoniker, Zielona Góra Philharmonic, and the Polish Baltic Philharmonic in Gdańsk.

Awards: Achieved second place at the Elize Meyer Competition (Hamburg) and third at the Friedrich Kuhlau Flute Competition (Germany).
