Rafał Charzyński

Rev. Dr. hab. Rafał Charzyński is an Assistant Professor at the Department of the History of Philosophy in Poland, Faculty of Philosophy, John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin. Born in 1969 in Lublin, he holds a Master’s in Theology (1994), PhD in Philosophy (2003 from Rome’s Pontifical University of St. Thomas Aquinas), and habilitation (2017). His research focuses on European neoscholasticism, Polish philosophical history, and moral/legal philosophy. He has served as a parish priest, hospital chaplain, and academic tutor. Awards include the Bronze Medal for Long Service (2018). His work bridges theology, ethics, and legal theory, with notable contributions on Czesław Martyniak and Franciszek Gabryl.
