Rafael Ramos Amigo

Rafael Ramos Amigo is a researcher affiliated with the University of Santiago de Compostela (USC) and part of the Rivadulla research group at the Chemical Research Center (CIQUS). He holds the prestigious Ramón y Cajal fellowship since September 2021.

His research focuses on the interplay between electron, spin, and heat transport in solid-state systems, aiming to develop novel routes for thermal energy scavenging and heat flow control. Key contributions include studying magnetotransport properties of magnetic oxides and enhancing spin Seebeck effect efficiency via multilayer systems and magnon-phonon resonances.
