Rafael Mestre is a Lecturer at the School of Electronics and Computer Science, University of Southampton, and a Turing Fellow at the Alan Turing Institute. He leads multiple interdisciplinary research projects at the intersection of computer science, political science, and bioengineering. He is co-director of the Centre for Democratic Futures, Ethics & Governance lead at the Centre for Robotics, Associate at the Digital Humanities hub, and member of the Institute for Life Sciences.
