معرفی
Rafael Eggli is a Research Fellow affiliated with the Department of Physics at the University of Basel and part of the Quantum Coherence Lab (Zumbühl Group). His work focuses on low-temperature quantum transport experiments in semiconductor nanostructures, exploring quantum coherence, spin qubits, and exotic quantum phases like Majorana fermions. He contributes to cutting-edge research in quantum computing and collaborates with international institutions, including ETH Zurich, Harvard University, and the University of Chicago. The lab operates at ultra-low temperatures (down to 224 µK) and is affiliated with the Swiss Nanoscience Institute (SNI), NCCR SPIN, and the Basel QC2 Center.
Research Interests:
- Spin qubits in Ge/Si nanowires and GaAs quantum dots
- Spin-orbit coupling in semiconductor quantum wells
- Quantum Hall edge states and topological insulators
- Nuclear spin interactions in nanostructures
- Low-temperature quantum device fabrication
