Rafael Bernad Mainar

Rafael Bernad Mainar is a Professor at the Faculty of Communication and Social Sciences of San Jorge University, serving as Director of the Law Degree program where he teaches History of Law in Spain, Civil Law (Obligations and Contracts, Real Rights, Successions), and Aragonese Foral Law.

His educational background includes:

His research focuses on European and Latin American private law history, legal regimes of private law institutions, and Economic Analysis of Law (AED), with significant contributions to Roman Law, Civil Law, and Foral Law of Aragon. He has authored foundational texts including "Derecho Civil Patrimonial. Obligaciones" and "Manual de historia del Derecho" while publishing over fifty specialized articles.
