Radka Argirova

Prof. Radka Argirova, DSc, serves as a Professor in the Department of Natural Sciences at New Bulgarian University (NBU), actively teaching in the Bachelor's program for Cell Biology and Virology. Her current course load includes Antiviral Substances and Viral Infections Therapy (VIRB603), Viral Evolution (VIRB605), Project: Antiviral Substances (VIRB712), and Vaccines (VIRB801).

Her research expertise centers on critical virology domains with direct clinical applications:

• Virology: Structural analysis and pathogenic mechanisms of viral agents
• Antiviral Therapy: Development and evaluation of pharmacological interventions against viral replication
• Viral Evolution: Molecular adaptation processes and resistance emergence in viral populations
