Radhika Desai

Radhika Desai is a Professor in the Department of Political Studies at the University of Manitoba and Director of the Geopolitical Economy Research Group. She holds a Ph.D. from Queen’s University (1992) and has held academic positions at the University of Manitoba and University of Victoria. Her research focuses on geopolitical economy, imperialism, capitalism, and international relations. She has authored influential books like *Geopolitical Economy: After US Hegemony, Globalization and Empire* (2013) and edited numerous volumes on political economy and nationalism.

Her work critically examines the intersections of capitalism, imperialism, and global power structures. Recent articles address US-China relations, climate diplomacy, NATO strategy, and the decay of US democracy.
