Radhika Basheer, Ph.D., serves as Associate Professor of Psychology at Harvard University and Associate Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at VA Boston Healthcare System. She is embedded within Harvard Medical School's Division of Sleep Medicine, conducting research at the West Roxbury VA Medical Center campus.
Her scholarly focus centers on the intersection of sleep pathology and psychiatric conditions, particularly examining sleep disorders within veteran populations. As part of Harvard's Sleep Medicine infrastructure, she contributes to translational research programs addressing circadian physiology and sleep-disordered breathing.
Based at the West Roxbury VA facility (Research 151 Orea Bldg, 2A101), her work bridges clinical psychiatry with the Division's core initiatives including the Medical Chronobiology Program and Sleep Apnea Health Outcomes Research Group.
