Professor Raci TAŞCIOĞLU is a distinguished academic at Atatürk University's Faculty of Communication, Department of Public Relations and Publicity. Currently serving as a full Professor since 2018, he has previously held positions as Associate Professor (2012-2018) and Assistant Professor (2011-2012). He has served two terms as Vice Dean of the Faculty of Communication (2013-2014 to 2019-2020) and currently heads the Department of Public Relations and Publicity since December 2020.
His educational background includes a Doctorate from Ankara University (2007), a Master's degree from Ege University (2000), and undergraduate studies at Ege University's Faculty of Communication (1995). His academic journey began as a Research Assistant at Atatürk University in 1998.
Professor TAŞCIOĞLU's research spans multiple dimensions of communication studies with particular emphasis on political communication, public relations, and media history. His work explores the intersection of politics and media, examining election campaigns, political advertising strategies, and the evolution of communication practices in Turkey.
