Rachel Williams serves as an Assistant Clinical Professor in Auburn University's School of Kinesiology, teaching undergraduate and graduate exercise science courses focused on motor behavior and sport psychology.
Her academic credentials include:
- Doctorate in Sport Psychology and Motor Behavior from University of Tennessee, Knoxville
- Master’s in Kinesiology (Sport and Exercise Psychology concentration) from East Carolina University
- Bachelor’s in Exercise Science from University of North Carolina Wilmington
Her research examines psychological mattering in youth sports, feedback mechanisms for motor skill development, and evidence-based teaching practices in higher education. She investigates how instructional methods impact relational dynamics and psychological outcomes in athletic and academic settings.
Dr. Williams collaborates with Auburn's Biggio Center on pedagogical research while maintaining active memberships in the North American Society for the Psychology of Sport and Physical Activity and National Strength and Conditioning Association.
