Rachel Grimsby is an Assistant Professor in the School of Music at James Madison University with over fifteen years of teaching experience in elementary general music and choir. She holds certifications in Feierabend, Kodály, and Orff methodologies, along with GIML Elementary I and II certificates.
Her research focuses on inclusive music education, specializing in teaching students with disabilities, preservice teacher preparation, and the relationship between music and language acquisition. Grimsby's work bridges music pedagogy with special education frameworks.
