Rachel Gasparini

Rachel Gasparini is a University Professor of Educational Sciences at the University of Lyon 2. She is affiliated with the École Pratique de l'Enseignement Supérieur (ECP) laboratory, where she contributes to Axis 1: Professionalization, Activity, and Career Path. Her research integrates sociology to explore intersections between socialization and professionalism in education, family, childhood, and medico-psychological sectors.

Education: She holds a sociology PhD (1998) from Lyon 2 on innovative pedagogies and an HDR (2020) in educational sciences titled "School Socialization and Normalization of Behaviors".

Research Interests: Focuses on inclusion policies, behavioral challenges in early childhood education, and interdisciplinary approaches to education. Current projects include Trajulis (student orientation in ULIS) and EduTech (specialized technical educators for vulnerable groups).

Professional Activities: Active in academic outreach, delivering keynote lectures on inclusive education, behavioral management in schools, and sociological analysis of educational practices. Recent engagements include conferences at the AFS Congress (2023), Toulouse University (2023), and Cergy-Pontoise University (2021).
